Mechanism of Action
Etamsylate reduces capillary bleeding by stabilising the capillary wall and reducing platelet aggregation at bleeding sites. Tranexamic Acid prevents clot breakdown by blocking plasminogen activators. Together they stop bleeding from two complementary mechanisms.
Indications
Heavy menstrual bleeding, post-surgical bleeding, haemorrhage management.
