Multi-strain probiotic combination providing competitive exclusion of pathogenic organisms, bacteriocin production, short-chain fatty acid generation from prebiotic fermentation, enhancement of intestinal tight junction expression, and modulation of intestinal mucosal and systemic immunity through multiple Toll-like receptor and Toll-like receptor-independent signalling pathways.
