Mechanism of Action
Clotrimazole disrupts the fungal cell membrane by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis, killing the fungus and preventing its spread. In powder form it also keeps the affected area dry, which discourages fungal growth.
Indications
Fungal skin infections, athlete's foot, ringworm, intertrigo, nappy rash fungal infections.
