Itraconazole 200mg Capsules (HPMC Cap Shell)
Itraconazole 200mg — same mechanism as INFEXIN 100 (CYP51 inhibition, ergosterol synthesis blockade, fungal membrane disruption). The 200mg dose per capsule is the standard dosing for onychomycosis pulse therapy (200mg twice daily for 7 days), systemic fungal infections, and moderate-severe dermatophytosis requiring higher drug exposure. HPMC capsule shell ensures acid-independent absorption.
Onychomycosis pulse therapy (200mg twice daily ×7 days, 2–3 pulses), moderate-to-severe tinea infections requiring 200mg daily, systemic fungal infections (aspergillosis, histoplasmosis, blastomycosis), oropharyngeal/oesophageal candidiasis, and cryptococcal meningitis (maintenance). Also preferred for fluconazole-resistant vaginal candidiasis at 200mg single dose.
Dosage and administration should be as prescribed by a qualified doctor or medical professional. Do not self-medicate. Always follow your physician's instructions regarding dose, frequency and duration of treatment.
INFEXIN 200 enables the pulse dosing regimen for onychomycosis — one of the most common and cosmetically distressing chronic fungal infections — at a DPCO-regulated price. The Alu-Alu packaging protects the moisture-sensitive HPMC capsules, maintaining potency throughout the multi-month treatment course.
