Mechanism of Action

A powerful mucolytic-bronchodilator combination. Acebrophylline opens airways and thins mucus (dual action as a single compound). N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) is one of the most potent mucolytics available — it breaks the disulphide bonds in mucus glycoproteins, dramatically reducing mucus viscosity. NAC also has antioxidant properties that protect airway cells from oxidative damage in chronic respiratory disease. Together they provide maximum mucus-clearing and airway-opening benefit.

Indications

Severe COPD with thick sticky secretions, chronic bronchitis with mucus plugging, bronchiectasis, and respiratory conditions where standard mucolytics are insufficient.

Dosage & Administration

Take as prescribed by your doctor or healthcare professional. Do not self-medicate.

Why SAFEBRO PLUS?

The most powerful combination in the SAFEBRO range — for patients with thick, difficult-to-clear secretions where Acebrophylline alone or Ambroxol is insufficient.
