Mechanism of Action
Clopidogrel irreversibly blocks ADP receptors on platelets, preventing clot formation. Atorvastatin reduces LDL cholesterol and stabilises arterial plaques. Together they reduce both the risk of clot formation and atherosclerotic plaque progression.
Indications
Post-MI, post-stenting, TIA/stroke prevention with dyslipidaemia, high cardiovascular risk.
