Simethicone 140mg is a high-dose antifoaming agent (polydimethylsiloxane) that reduces the surface tension of intestinal gas bubbles, causing coalescence into larger bubbles that are more easily expelled by peristalsis. At 140mg per softgel, this is the maximum single-dose simethicone formulation — providing more potent and faster gas relief than standard 40–80mg formulations. The softgel format delivers simethicone rapidly and uniformly, avoiding the inconsistent dispersion of tablet or liquid formulations.

Excessive intestinal gas, post-operative gas pain and distension, post-endoscopy gas (from air insufflation during colonoscopy/gastroscopy), flatulence from dietary causes (beans, lentils, high-fibre foods), gas trapping in IBS, functional bloating, and pre-radiological bowel clearance (simethicone reduces gas artefacts in abdominal imaging).
